Description

Strictly a Trade Magazine dealing with contemporary watches and clock, written for the retail jeweler. Glossy, mostly color, with lots of advertising, mainly by watch manufacturers. About 70 pages per issue. Content includes many PR pieces on newly released models, news of the trade (Personnel changes in Companies wholesaling and importing watches etc.). Typical issues has one article on : Vintage news, i.e., used or classic watches/clocks, and one column dealing with repair, called "Apprentice's Notebook". Each issue contains a once a year directory on one aspect of the clock/watch trade, such as Watch Directory (suppliers for Watches), Clock Directory, Display Material Directory, Accessories Directory, Parts and Materials Directory, etc.
