Purpose
The purpose of this Chapter is to foster informal communications among those interested in the technical
aspects of horology. Its thrust is primarily educational. NAWCC guidelines will be followed.
Chapter Membership
Chapter membership is only available to members of the NAWCC. See NAWCC for

Membership includes a subscription to the Horological Science Newsletter (Five

The Chapter's Newsletter covers scientific or engineering horological topics not generally ready
for publication in the NAWCC Bulletin or similar journals. Typically, it can include notes or articles
regarding results of experiments, concepts, technical questions and solutions, mathematical analysis,
references to other publications, etc.. No advertising will be accepted, although sources of materials
and equipment, etc., for experimentation may be mentioned.
