The 2004 NAWCC Seminar will be held in Portland, Oregon October 28th - 30th. The seminar will be co-hosted by Pacific Northwest Chapter 31 & the Horological Science Chapter 161. The topic will be Science and Horology. The proposed display will be a "hands-on" laboratory for horological measurements which can be operated by seminar attendees. We are making good progress with speaker/topic selection but we are still looking for suggestions for speaker topics, speakers, experiments for the "laboratory" and volunteers to help with the seminar and seminar planning.

I will not be attending the National NAWCC Meeting in Charlotte this July. A room has been reserved for the AHS meeting and a request made to keep the room open after for the Horological Science Chapter to meet informally. If anyone has material they would like to present - let me know and I will make arrangements.

The deadline for material for the next issue is June 15th.
