Description

Not really a "Clock" magazine, but indispensible for the hobbyist machinist, including any amateur clockmaker (as opposed to clock repairer). Black and white, glossy, many illustrations. About 70 pages per issue.

1995 is Volume 14.

Besides numerous regular columns, readers forum and advertisements, about 6 articles per issue, covering machine tools reviewed for the hobbyist, general machining tips and techniques, and projects. Projects typically run over several issues and include detailed drawings and instructions and photographs on how to build an XYZ. Typical projects could be a model steam engine, a clock, etc.

Of interest to horologists: 1993 to 1995, 12 Part Series (6 pages each) by W.R. Smith, "How to make a Skeleton Wall Clock".

(Articles of special interest to clock makers to be added periodically here as they get published)
