Chapter 7.2

7.2 Videos

  • J. M. Huckabee's Random Clock Talks. [37 different tapes covering a multitude of topics. Huck's real love and talent is with lathe work and somehow he seems to work that into most of the tapes. These are available for check out from AWI Headquarters in Cincinnati. I am not aware of them being for sale anywhere. I've seen about a dozen. While I chuckle at Huck's style and delivery on video, the subject matter and the depth and vastness of his knowledge and experience come out loud and clear. I've really enjoyed those. • Wayne Griffith of The Clock Works in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. [He's done two tapes to my knowledge... restoration of an American kitchen clock movement, tools and shop layout; repair of a Hermele 1050-020 movement - this is a floating balance, triple chime, spring type movement. Jerry in San Antonio linda@ESPSUN.SPACE.SWRI.EDU)]
  • Michael Lizza's clock repair course. [is augmented by videos that demonstrate specific movements and repair techniques. Lee Werling (lwerling@AOL.COM)]
